Tomomi Arimatsu

Tomomi Arimatsu is an accomplished Acrobatics and Coach at K-STAR Training Academy.

Tomomi Arimatsu is an accomplished Acrobat, Aerialist, and Coach at K-STAR Training Academy. Originally from Okayama, Japan, Tomomi grew up surrounded by nature—climbing trees, jumping over rivers, and hiking through mountains—all while beginning her journey in artistic gymnastics at just five years old.

Her dedication led her to attend one of Japan’s elite gymnastics high schools and later Nippon Sports Science University in Tokyo, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education. During her competitive career, Tomomi became a three-time Japanese National Team Champion in Artistic Gymnastics and was a finalist on the popular TV show Ninja Warrior (Kunoichi).

With a career that spans both performance and coaching, Tomomi has performed in major productions such as Matsuri Live Show at the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino, Dragon Quest Live Spectacle Japan Tour, and live concerts for many of Japan’s top singers and idols. Since 2018, she has been a featured performer aboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, recently completing a 10-month contract.

As a coach, Tomomi has extensive experience teaching both children and adults, in Japan and the United States. She specializes in acrobatics and aerial arts and brings a dynamic and inspiring energy to her classes. In addition to her coaching and performance career, Tomomi actively trains in martial arts and is a proud member of K-STAR’s Martial Arts Team.
