At K-STAR Training Academy, our approach to coaching martial arts is comprehensive, providing historical knowledge, and functional skills for modern day athletes. In our WUSHU and KUNG FU classes, students are trained using authentic, time proven training methods from two of China's most respected Martial Art Forms. The best part? We have classes for all ages.
What We Teach...
Modern Wushu, a dynamic fast-paced and aesthetically pleasing art form with a foundation in traditional Chinese Kung Fu. Developed in China during the early 1950s and created a standardized road map for producing high level athletes within the discipline of Chinese Kung Fu. Today, this awe-inspiring martial art is practiced worldwide and continues to improve the mental and physical health of practitioners from throughout the world.
Shaolin Kung Fu is renowned the world over as one of the oldest and most representative forms of Chinese Martial Arts. Developed over a period spanning 1,500 years in China's Henan region, Shaolin Kung Fu is based on the unique combination of Chan Philosophy, Martial Arts Skills and Medical knowledge. In practical application, Shaolin Kungfu emphasizes the four pillars of classical martial arts, kicking, striking, throwing, and grappling. From a medical, or philosophical perspective, Shaolin Kung Fu is more than a martial art, it is a complete system of human optimization.

We also offer private sessions in most the disciplines we teach at the Academy. If you’re interested in scheduling a private, please write us at email@example.com with what you are interested in learning, if you have a preferred instructor, and available dates.
All students under the age of 15 must wear a uniform in the Academy, in addition training shoes for indoor use are required and are available for purchasable at the academy. Long hair should be pulled back and jewelry should be removed before class.
Students must be free of injuries that would prevent safe enjoyment of the class. If you have special needs, please contact us and we can see how best we can accommodate you.
